Crystal and Stephen were our first couple of the spring and they were just a delight to work with! They wanted to incorporate their Chinese heritage into their wedding while making sure to not lose their own personal style. Crystal wanted a small intimate ceremony for close family and friends that was meaningful and personal to their beliefs. The reception was a whole different affair with 30 tables filled to the brim with friends, family, and coworkers!
They hosted a multi course family style chinese dinner of shark fin soup, sugar and soy sauce steak (that I would eat over and over and over again if I could!), lobster, and dessert. Crystal wore a beautiful western dress for her ceremony at Dumbarton House and then changed into a stunning red Chinese dress for the reception. I cant rave enough about our wonderful team and many many thanks to Lisa Boggs for shooting such stunning images (in the rain none the less!)
Crystal and Stephen’s wedding is a great example of turning a little rain into a great photo opportunity by bringing umbrellas that coordinated with their ceremony colors!
