I am excited to finally be able to blog Jason and Elayna’s wedding in full! We were so delighted to have Style Me Pretty showcase it within their gallery and now I want to share all the amazing photos by Twilight Images. Jason and Elayna faced the challenges of hosting their ceremony indoors in a ballroom at the Westin Richmond, and they wanted to do something that was unique and would disguise the simple space. We built a floor to ceiling bookcase that stretched almost wall to wall and filled it full of glowing pillar candles and tea lights. The aisle was lined with floating candles with orchids and a white runner stretched down the aisle.
After a ceremony filled with laughter and tears, guests moved on to cocktail hour and dinner in another ballroom. The Westin in house AV team created gorgeous purple uplighting that accented the submerged arrangements and tall balls of white and purple hydrangea by Flowers by Mona Ray. We used accents of crystals and touches of purple and grey around the room for pops of color. I wish these two all the best and many years of happiness to follow this amazing wedding! Stay tuned for part 2 tomorrow full of details and the crazy reception!
