Black and White Modern Invitations

19 Mar

In my research for clients I stumbled across an incredibly eye-catching and well designed stationary suite from The Goodness that I just had to share! I love how they look an initial idea and transformed it into all aspects of the wedding from invitation to monogram to favors. The team at The Goodness also are amazing photographers and were able to add their images and monogram design to the CD of their prints and Thank You cards. Enjoy!

Floral Friday: Bells of Ireland

16 Mar

I love the unique look and texture of this under used bloom. They hold to their shape and are great for any time of arrangement from centerpieces to pew decor. Look to Navy and Green, Lime and Yellow, and Green, White, and Black as great color options when using these florals.

I love how the florals are used above the mirror. This would be great as an accent for a mantle or door at the church in a similar fashion.

Veggie Table Delight

1 Mar
This table from Amy Atlas Blog is hands down one of the best treat tables I’ve ever seen! I’m certainly not a fruits and veggies kind of chick but this makes me want to raid the whole table!! The table was created by Esther Kim of My Bride Story to inspire her kids and other parents to find fun in fruits and veggies. I love the watermelon cubes and vegetable sticks with dips in the back. A great table trick for any party planner is to remember to decorate the table as a whole and use height to give some variation. She used Brussel sprouts in the front to decorate the front of the table and cabbage arrangements in the back for height.

Real Weddings: Speakeasy Love

20 Feb
This wonderful wedding was borrowed from a favorite blog of mine, 100 Layer Cake. This sexy wedding was planned with the assistance of Jillian Clark Events in NYC and it is a GREAT example of how to pull together a theme and create a unique wedding that wont be forgotten. The bride and her amazing planner worked together on the details such as calligraphy and typography to create a 1930′s speakeasy feeling from start to finish. PLUS I just DIE over her amazing dress by Alice Temperley that she got at a sample sale.
